Description of a skill execution

The degree of dog's training to a pack of load

The commands Ho!, Heel!

By judge's command a trainer puts a pack of load on dog. s back and goes together with a dog (a dog is without a lead) along the square. The weight of a pack must be of 20% of dog's weight. The compacted bags filled with the sand or fine gravel may be used as the weight, the bags must be put evenly from each side of a pack. A dog should be quiet when putting on a pack and move near a trainer in accordance with the item Dog's movement near a trainer. of the General Training Course.

The skill is considered as failed, if a dog refuses to move with a pack.

Communication between two block-stations, searching of a transfered block-station and running speed

The command Station! and a directing gesture. On trainer's discretion the command and a gesture are given out of the stand-position or kneel -position. Two trainers with a dog set communication between two disguised block-stations that are situated at 500 m-distance from each other. A judge throws 4-5 pieces of food along the communication line. A dog should run from one block-station to another in 3 minutes.

The trial order:

- first both trainers and a dog are at 1-block-station. Then, by judge. s command, one of the trainers and a dog on a lead, but without a pack go along the determined route accompanied by a judge; they lay the communication line to 2-block-station. When they reach 2-block-station, a trainer make a dog lie down, then in 10 minutes he puts a pack with load on dog. s back, puts a note where the start time is indicated into a collar pocket and sends a dog to 1-block-station by the command Station! (the first run).

By this command a judge who is at .! 2-block-station, starts the stop-watch and doesn. t turn it off until the trials are over. After that a trainer, by judge. s instruction, marks the starting point of a track and lays it in the straight direction along 200 m-distance towards the determined disguised place (the transfered block-station).

- In 5 minutes after dog. s coming to .! 1-block-station a trainer sends a dog to .! 2-block-station (the second run), marks the starting point of a track and goes straight at 200 m-distance (the transfered block-station);

- when a dog comes to 2-block-station, it should find a track and a moved trainer.

- In 5 minutes after dog. s coming a trainer sends a dog to 1-block-station again (the third run).

- A judge, who is at 2-block-station, marks the overall speed of three runs by means of the stop-watch, when a dog lies down near a trainer after the third run. The staying-power time (10 minutes + 5 minutes + 5 minutes) is deducted out of total time of three runs. Special signals are given for a judge to turn the stop-watch off in time. A dog must run with equal speed from one station to another without stopping, distraction and taking the thrown food. A dog should lie down near a sitting trainer when comes to the station.

When the station is transfered, a dog must find a trainer. s track, and following it reach the transfered station.

The skill is considered as failed, if a dog eats the food thrown along the route, or if it doesn. t find the station or comes back to the station it was sent from.

Attitude to shooting

The skill is checked when the third run (from 2-block-station to 1-block-station).

A judge hides in the middle of the running distance (at 15 m-distance from the communication line), let a dog pass by him and shoots out of the starting pistol. A dog must ignore the shot and go on moving.

The skill is considered as failed, if a dog demonstrates fear of shooting, or runs away from the running distance or comes back to the station it was sent from.
